Now today, incase everyone doesn't realise, is Donny Osmond's birthday - a quick nod of acknowledgement here to my dearest pal, who's also a Pingirl but still, at the age of fifty, an ardent fan. I, at least, grew out of the I-hope-to-marry-Donny obsession when I was thirty-four...

Spotted today's blip in the college carpark and pleased with myself that I managed to get out and away from the desk for a while. I love the silvery-grey colour of lichen, even better today when there was some blue sky above.
