Waiting for the Sun
A dreich day on a back road from Inverurie to Newmachar, looking for something — anything — to blip. Two options: a seriously moss-covered wall (with a lichen in the corner) and this gorse bush, which would have been spectacular in sunlight against a background of Aberdeenshire fields and low hills.
I chose the latter, because the former did not quite have the pattern to catch my imagination. I'll look again for that another day — plenty of such walls around here!
The thing about photography is that there is always another day, another time, different weather…
