Blossom

Made a conscious effort to drag myself out for an hour to get photo outside. Had another project lined up to start today but there's a limit to how much punishment I'm prepared to inflict on myself in the name of conformity, so instead I went for a walk.

Fairly quiet day in terms of business; no follow-up from yesterday so the anticipated hiatus didn't happen. Instead had a walk with the dogs along the canal first thing with Dad. He's looking better than he has for a couple of months. Met up with the usual suspects on the canal bank - sightings of a Kingfisher have excited curiosity. Nothing so exotic for us, but a pleasant start to the day nonetheless.

The whiff of fresh air is a welcome relief in the afternoon. Hazy sunshine at best, but a few interesting snapshots grabbed my eye. Lovely seeing the buds unfolding and the fresh green leaves breaking out. Birds are very vocal too of course.

Day two of the stew I made yesterday - maybe get around to taking a leaf out of T's book and doing my own bread to go with it. Mmmmmm
