On its last legs

I've had so much pleasure from this scented White Company candle I received at Christmas. It just goes on and on for hours every day, but I fear its end is nigh...

Miserable day of rain, so I have had a quiet day indoors:

~ catching up with visitors' bedding laundry;

~ making green* soup;

~ learning how dentures, crowns and bridges are made, on my Discovering Dentistry course; and

~ watching the mini-series 'The Widower', which was recommended. Compelling!

All in all, a most enjoyable day. Hope the same goes for you all.


* It should have been spinach soup, but there wasn't quite enough, so anything green in the fridge was added (past-its-best rocket, broccoli, Brussels sprouts and half a green pepper) and blitzed. Very tasty it is too!
