April 2000. While the strip was being printed in the Daily Wildcat, it was also being printed in three other college papers AND U. Magazine - which wanted them in color. So I had the main storyline going and then repeats of all the strips I've already shown here, with edits and rearrangements for each, and then the magazine which meant I had to learn to use art markers. All of this is so easy now in Photoshop but at the time it was a lot of work to get this out, on top of going nuts with my MFA thesis.
