April 3rd 2009 - Wink wink

I woke up to my own personal alarm for the month – the sun streaming through the windows. We had a short meeting at the Ministry of Agriculture to discuss the conversation work we would be undertaking this month before I headed into town to find a fan. After much searching I was triumphant and so headed home to install the device which would soon make me significantly cooler in the humidity of this place.

After enjoying the fan and sorting lunch, a couple of us went for a walk (finding a great little shop which was to become our new local – it even had avocado) and taking photos of the animals about – including the cheeky guy winking in the blip. We went to be treated by the sunset with some coffee but unfortunately some clouds spoilt the view slightly too much. We spent the evening with the flat (our little home consisted of Sara, Christine, Katja, Josefine, Mia and myself) watching crappy TV, playing cards and chatting.
