Today was an enjoyable and useful day. It was about restorative justice conferencing. This was more relevant to me and the smaller group of 16 I enjoyed too. You will recall the Covered Bridge I featured as my blip the other day. the first video we watched was something I mentioned briefly before which was a conference which took place concerning the six 20 year old boys who burnt down a similar bridge. It was a powerful community event with the boys having to explain what they had done and hear the many voices of the community hurt and upset by the loss of this historic bridge. It was a great example of the concept of conferencing.

After a fulfilling day Ted took me for a meal at a local restaurant where I saw the photo which caught by eye and suggested itself as my blip of the day. A full American size meal was then consumed!

Tomorrow is the last full day then its time on Friday to return to the Big Apple.
