Birthday dinner

The table is laid and dinner is nearly ready for the birthday boy. I have cooked soup, his favourite main course, made a yoghurt jelly for dessert, and bought a couple of Danish pastries and a nice loaf of bread - a veritable feast.

Liver and onions!
