Digging for rabbits.
Well, they hoped there was a rabbit down there, but we got sick of waiting for them to dig it out enough so they could get inside the hole, so took them for a walk else where.
They did arrive home last night. We left the door open when we went to bed & at 12.37PM they rushed inside and leaped onto our bed (which they are not allowed to do). PJ then put them out in their kennels. PJ had walked up the back paddock about 11.00pm, and could hear them barking, but it was too dark, and the country is covered in scrub & trees, so it wasn't worth trying to find them.
PJ had to go to Havelock this morning and brought in 5 nurses, to come to the Waitaria Bay Hall & School, for a community Health Day. Free flu injections were very popular, as where the free heart checks. They run this service once a year, and a lot of people take advantage of not having to driving 2 hours out to Havelock, or 2 1/2 hours to Blenheim to get the flu injection.
Had a bit of a blitz cleaning up, when the new owner of the Lodge said he was going to come up to see us. But didn't get here, so he will be here in the morning now. At least I have tidy settees, etc, and clear table top & bench tops. Not sure how long that will last for.
Didn't get the invoices sent out, which was supposed to be my job for the day. Oh, well maybe this evening, or tomorrow.
