The Lid

A beautiful springy afternoon, which I didn't see much of, then a quick drive out towards the South Wall, and back almost immediately. Just time to look across toward the city under the cloud-lid, the narrow crack of it, old sea-facing houses along Sandymount and the faded mountains behind, steeped in sepia.
