Drove to Blackrock to take Lola for a quick walk before an early tea (my last CW class tonight in UCD). I noticed that the light was milky/misty again, so I went across the railway bridge. As I descended the steps towards the sea I noticed this guy propped on the wall listening to headphones. He didn't seem to mind me photographing him so I asked if I could take his portrait, and he obliged. Not smiling came naturally to him, though he asked if I could take a couple of smily ones (they are marginally less severe). I'd have chatted with him for a bit longer if I wasn't in such a hurry. He didn't have an email address for me to send jpegs to, so I told him I'd send them to the Fuji shop in Blackrock where he could collect them (which I've done). A gentle-seeming person, very patient with me.
