Sunset in Beijing

Today we visited the Great Wall! Absolutely amazing would have posted a landscape shot but my phone just didn't do it justice. Me and my friends went up the "easier" route which was still incredibly steep with steps at knee height! We were able to reach the top of our section in the allotted 45 minutes admittedly the view would have been maybe better on the west side but the East was still jaw droppingly amazing and beautiful. After that the went to lunch and headed then headed to the summer palace, which isn't a palace but the imperial garden for the emperor when he went in holiday. Due to the ridiculous traffic - it was supposed to only take 1 1/2 hours each way to get to and from the wall but turned out as 3! - we ended up a bit later at the summer palace but that did result in us witnessing one of the most beautiful sunsets I've seen sinking behind the mountains looking across the water.

That is what this picture shows. I love the rich orange and the silhouette of the mountains and pagoda along with the delicate reflection on the water.
