Ruby rhubarb

Monday morning is take-off time at the shop in preparation for the delivery, which means changing all the hangers and ripping the plastic cubes off them - a killer on the fingers. Jonathan rang while I was out shopping later to say he had bought a second-hand tripod, and it looks really good. Just need to order a plate for it.

We moved the bird feeder a little nearer the front window the other week and have been trying to encourage our feathered friends onto it with a variety of tasty morsels - to little avail. But we suddenly spotted some sparrows at teatime and grabbed the cameras. No luck, but we waited a while and a couple of starlings came and Jonathan managed some really good shots. I got some really good shots of the window sill!!!

So I went out into the garden at dusk, and this is the result. Had a play around with a pic of my already rather large rhubarb leaves. If they continue to grow at this pace I will be selling them as garden parasols by the summer!!!
