What happened to the weekend?

I finished my course at 6pm yesterday having sat (and passed) two exams and I delivered another lesson. I'm relieved it's over as I've been waiting to do the course for over a year now. It means that I can certify our faculty and I can also deliver courses and certification to teachers and students in other schools in the area. It's all voluntary but it's for a good cause so I really don't mind.

Anyhoo I feel like I haven't spent much time with my lovely little family so we cancelled all other arrangements and had a relaxing family day today. We played in the garden as it's been another hot belter today and then went for an explore in the forest and of course did the obligatory chocolate coin treasure hunt which was great fun. We then chilled out at home for a bit before giving the kids an early bath and then heading out for an early dinner at a local Italian restaurant which worked really well as the kids were great (it's usually hit and miss in a restaurant and can end up being more stressful than it's worth).

Dex is totally confused by the light evenings (the clocks went forward last night) and I can see it's going to be a struggle tomorrow for us all!
