Purple Heart

A few weeks ago I decided to do some weeding, and was merrily pulling up the "weeds" which seemed to be invading the pot containing my bay tree when I noticed a small bulb attached. At which point I recalled planting anemone corms in the autumn - Oops!

I hastily replanted some of the bulbs, but the damage was done. This is the sole survivor, bravely standing up with its head in the sun, just begging to be blipped. I'm not too sure the white flying thing (press L to look large to see) adds to to the composition, but one has to live and let live!
