Middle of the Road

Nearly 2years ago this was the main A3 trunk road from London to Portsmouth weaving round the Devil's Punch Bowl, a site of special scientific interest in the Surrey Hills. Today the the road dives into the Hindheal Tunnel, and the original tarmac has gone. Just right for a gentle, peaceful stroll on an Easter Sunday - we even had some sunshine!
