Open Wide…Really Wide

I don't mean to scare anyone or give you NightFears but…this Gator hauled itself out of the water and up onto the bank where he preceded to open his really large mouth to either facilitate the dispersion of heat or to impress the ladies, it's hard to say. It was almost as though he was performing for the crowd of visitors walking the La Chua Trail.
I was there at about 6:00pm and was able to snap an eagle, hawk, great blue with dinner, male boat tailed grackle, night heron and of course…gators. To take a look at these photos go...HERE

Park gates close and lock at 8:00pm…and you don't really want to miss that event!
