Murphy's new family came to the Paws On Parole second outing today! At this 'get together' the 'Prospective' Adopters spend more time with their chosen dog and also time with our Professional Trainer. She talks with the family about bringing home a new dog, some behaviors to be on the lookout for and to how to deal with them Before they might get out of hand, and just a general review of dog obedience techniques. The new owners then travel to Animal Services to complete the adoption papers. The dogs have two more weeks of training by the inmates before their Graduation Ceremony...and finally going, with their family, to their Forever Home.

These Paws on Parole Events are usually held at local Veterinarian Offices, today's was at a shop that sells Specialty dog food and treats. It was a Very Good Day!
