A Tropical Garden in the City

Hard as it might be to believe, this is right in downtown Bangkok. This is the garden of the Siam Society near Sukhumvit/Asok.
This is another side of the Thai capital. As vibrant and as modern as it may be, it keeps its nice, quiet corners: the sois (transversal narrow streets), the khlongs (canals) and many green spaces made of parks, public or private gardens like this one.

Nearby this place, there is an old Thai traditional house made of wood and converted into a coffee shop. It explains why life in Bangkok is so pleasant and full of unexpected places.
