Home Sweet Home.......

...in the Cabbage Patch! That was our favourite saying whenever we arrived home in the car with Mum and Dad.

Even after the most wonderful four weeks holiday travelling through three states of Australia, I have to say it's also great to be back home again at Wombat Hollow. We decided to celebrate by driving into our favourite florist shop in Katoomba and buying some beautiful pink roses. It's always very homely I think to have fresh flowers in the house.

Sadly we haven't seen any sign of our glorious Gang Gang Cockatoos, I think they may have moved further to the South East of Australia and hopefully our Victorian friends will be seeing them anytime soon. It will be a joyful moment when I can Blip again that they are back at Wombat Hollow. We were blessed this year to have them visiting us for just over four weeks, much longer than usual. The bird baths seemed to be the secret.
