One more leg!

We had mixed emotions when we pulled in to one of our favourite parks in Blaney (between Cowra and Bathurst) this afternoon. Only one more leg of our journey to go and CCN and I will have completed a fantastic four week holiday.

The trusty thermos came out and we happily munched through our lunch! It's a lovely park which is cared for by Rotarians. We were delighted to see a bunch of young gymnasts from Cowra having a break on their way back from a training session in Orange.

We started to reflect on our holiday and it's just amazing what we have managed to pack into the four weeks. I have to confess the camera took this Blip, set up on a trusty wheely bin! We had taken some other images during the day but when choosing todays Blip I realised that this one really was the most significant. This was one Blip we really wanted to share!

Thanks for your comments on yesterday's Blip of Sir Edward "Weary" Dunlop. While we were driving home today we rang the Benalla Art Gallery as we were keen to know who had created the magnificent sculpture. We discovered that it was a sculptor from Melbourne and if you're interested here is Louis Laumen's website.. I'm sure you will be astonished as we were at the magnificent catalogue of work that Louis has created.
