Istanbul

The Asian shore of the Bosphorus as seen from my friend's flat this evening when I went to have dinner with him and his family (home made pizza - yum!) - they are staying in my flat in Akbuk next week so we had stuff to talk about - like how to get there! Meanwhile, I am off to Florence on Monday so I spent most of today leisurely preparing and packing.


Today was sunny, cool and very windy and tonight was incredibly eye wateringly cold @ 4ºC. The forecast predicts better temperatures for Florence than Istanbul next week. Hurrah!
