Mixed Blessings

Difficult to describe just how much fun I had today with this group, (or why some of them are sitting under the table!) .... so I am not going to try except to say that we all laughed and learned.

Today started badly, learning from BBC World News that the Turkish government, in addition to recent ban on Twitter, has now banned YouTube. Regardless of human rights to access of information issues, my current Art Studio unit with final year students is built upon the idea that students follow an individual programme of YouTube tutorial videos that teach how to draw using Linear Perspective. What to do?

Today finished very nicely with the usual suspects meeting at Bizim Tepe* to celebrate the end of this half semester as we now launch into a week's holiday. Yay.
