A little kindness

My lovely neighbour gave me homemade bread last week and now this week she has given me a homemade cushion. She got a sewing machine last week and has been making so many things for her house. What was nice is in amongst all that (and some hideous trouble from her neighbour) she has made me a little gift. She made sure the material had birds on it - due to my love of birds and me talking about robins and how I saw them loads when my dad died. Such a lovely thought and today I have been feeling a little unwell and a bit low with Mother's Day around the corner (it always puts me in such a low mood) and I can't join in with that celebration with children of my own. So this little gift has really made my day.

Let's hope tomorrow I feel a little better!
