At last - a win!

Although sneaking a 1-0 victory against Hyde who have only won once this season is nothing to write home about. Actually, I thought Hyde played pretty well for a team that were relegated a few weeks ago.

But although we looked reasonably solid at the back (our 'keeper, Morris made 2 or 3 particularly good saves), and although we had Moseley back in the side, we still didn't look particularly threatening going forward. But 3 points was essential if we have were to retain any hope of avoiding relegation.

This photo is of a wicked corner, which just beat the Hyde goalie. All Stanley had to do was move a couple of inches and it would have bounced off him into the goal, but Stanley doesn't appear to be a particularly good footballer .......

So we live to fight another day. Sadly, however, that other day is next Saturday, and away at Luton Town - champions elect :-(
