After the rain

Think I'll slip my blip in early today - may even change it later.

Exciting sightings of two woodpeckers today, both with brilliant red crests, but one much larger than the other, with a most splendid Mohican. Called HH but he didn't manage to get the bins trained on the larger one before it flew off - and I wasn't quick enough with the camera. Did see him fly right across the lawn shorter patch of grass, so more visible than usual,

Faffing around waiting for the go-ahead on a translation, which didn't come, so have to start on another one, larger and more complicated. Guess where the procrastination comes in. Think I'll go and get my nails done.
