Something to mull over...

Our first batch of mulled wine sizzling away on the hob - brown sugar, orange, nutmeg, cinnamon, bay leaves, cloves and star anise all combining to create a wonderful aroma in the house, oh and some red wine to be added of course.

The drinking of which will accompany the early decoration of the tree, after I survived the loft monsters to get the "deccies" down earlier.

(and there I was a year ago today doing exactly the same thing - creature of habit...)
