Friday night traffic

This is us *trying* to get to the Festival of Lights around Dubai Mall... it was around 9:30 in the eveningand seeing all the cars wanting to do the same; we abandoned the idea - so will probably miss it this year as it ends tomorrow.

Prior to this; G & I enjoyed a BBQ (sort of) in the desert. On some sand anyway. I am totally impressed with the design of these new throw-away BBQs. They have thought of everything! So easy to start up and dispose of.

And prior to that; we attended a church service that both inspired and challenged and G & I were very pleased we got ourselves there this morning. And tomorrow, she doesn't have her student, so I wonder when the ironing will get done!!! ;) I *might* get my car back. It's been a week. Good night now.
