An apple a year..

The same shot I did a year ago. Pruned again to remove dead twigs, leaving outward facing buds. I think they've grown a bit since I planted them, even though the deer pruned them too.

If you look closely, there is snow on the hills still, same as last year.

Colder today, but still dry. Harvest done for the hotel. Last year I ploughed on 6th April. Won't be far off that this year, if it stays dry. Blip makes a great diary to check back on..

Stopcock replaced, I had one in my "come in handy" box.. Just waiting for N to turn up with his welder. Then I can have a shower before doing the egg run..
