Milton is a town in Southern Ontario, Canada, and part of the Halton Region in the Greater Toronto Area. Apart from the mouthful of an address the town received a significant amount of attention following the 2006 and 2011 censuses. Some lonely and bored nerd was searching through the data one snow covered day in mid summer and discovered that Milton was the fastest growing municipality in the Greater Golden Horseshoe, a significant achievement considering that a horse's shoe is really not that large.
Anyway our friend with nothing to do and a newly discovered slide rule duly discovered a 71.4% increase in the population of Milton between 2001 and 2006, and it didn't stop there, now way, things are growing in Milton. You will find plenty of the stuff just around the corner from my place.
Anther 56.4% increase in population between 2006 and 2011 again had Milton on top of the charts. In early 2012 someone woke up the town's planner and he wasn't impressed about that as he was at that certain point in the dream when...but I digress. He soon forgot about the dream (well, not really) and a smile did eventually cross his face when he was able to estimate that Milton's population had grown somewhere between 94,000 and 95,000. At last report he is still looking that spot between 94,000 and 95,000. With figures like this frosting around, anyone would get exited - would they not?

I did, and I went looking for a little beauty in one of the trendy new developments on the eastern side of that horse shoe next to the rusty nail and close to where that stuff was growing. Of course she had to fit within my budget. The above handsome property was a little over my budget I am sad to say. But for the want of a spare dollar this little beauty could have been mine.
