Multiflora White Hyacinth

"If, of thy mortal goods, thou art bereft,
And from thy slender store two loaves
alone to thee are left,
Sell one & from the dole,
Buy Hyacinths to feed the soul
"
- Muslihuddin Sadi, 13th Century Persian Poet

As soon as I step out of the office, dark clouds start rolling in leaving views flat. I took several pictures. There were daffodils along the Water of Leith, the Falshaw Bridge, the cricket pavilion and primroses. However, the scene was either uninteresting because of the grey, or a lamp post or twig got in the way

What really stood out in the end was this multiflora white hyacinth that probably escaped from the grounds higher up the slope. Standing proud of the ivy in a slightly wooded area it had caught my eye a few days ago, and I am pleased I found them again and photographed them.
