You can have your cake but you can't eat it.

Our friend Neil who owns, a rival, another guest house, got two surprises on his birthday. The first was us gatecrashing, what he thought was going to be a quiet night out and the second was the arrival of this totally amazing birthday cake. It turns out that he has a secret yearning for a radio controlled tank, after seeing one on a recent holiday to Australia. The detail in this cake has to be seen to be believed. Go large and you'll see what I mean. The guy who made it lives locally and took days to build it. Every part of it is edible, even the ground that it sits on. Neil is off to hospital in Newcastle today for a major heart operation, so we wish him all the best luck in the world with it. See you soon mate!
