Quite an impressive statue for a university campus I thought! First day back at uni having taken a week off for skiing... Having to get used to 9m lectures again! Ieva and I went for breakfast overlooking the Piazza del Duomo, and then finally actually went inside! It only seems to be open during specific time slots. Going inside you really get a feeling of how big it is, although admittedly its not quite as impressively ornate as the outside. This was all on the way to do some retail therapy, as the Duomo is quite nicely around the corner from the main shopping area.
