Harvesting the maize

One of the farms up the valley was starting to harvest its crop of maize this afternoon, so after work Farmerboy drove me up there to take a photo. It was an amaize-ing crop - taller than the house on the farm.

The day was perfect for harvesting, although the fog in the early part of the morning may have held them up from starting.
