RUN!!

Son C and I left at 7.45am this morning, to return him to Reefton to rejoin his friends at the Top of the South Area Schools Sports Tournament. I stayed to watch them play their softball games. What a wonderful group of boys we have - they didn't win, but they enjoyed the atmosphere and were having a lot of fun. Here, Son C has just hit the ball, dropped the bat and is about to take off to first base.

Our school is very lucky to have a dedicated group of teachers, who have been assisting the kids during the term with their training, driven them to Reefton and back, as well as driving the rest of the Secondary School kids down and back yesterday, so they could support their friends. Where would we be without that dedication?
