Strauss

I can't pretend to know much about Strauss, but I did love the statues that surround his very famous gold statue. They swirl and flow and rise around it with fluttering clothes and adorning, almost demented expressions on their faces. Love it!

We went to the Leopold to see the Egon Shiele paintings and drawings. I hadn't realised he painted so many landscapes, nor that he had died at just 28. How sad. It was a beautiful exhibition and very moving and inspiring.

Home to the children and little Charlie Watts. I have missed them dreadfully but had a wonderful weekend.
