pallet pavilion

I was driving down Durham St so took a moment to stop a get one final photo of the pallet pavilion. It has been a very popular pop-up venue on the site of the Crowne Plaza (or Park Royal to us oldies), with a cafe, music, concerts, container shops and the 'She' chocolate bus.

Deconstruction is to start on 7 April as it is time for the gap filler projects to head in a new direction. I don't know if that means there are plans for a new building on this site, or if it will stay empty for the next few years.
