evening light

Taken from our upstairs deck, on Cashmere Hill.

About 1 hour after I took this, when I was sitting in the lounge preparing my blip, I saw a bright red light in the sky quite near our house. It dropped down to a low height - lower than a plane would be, but possibly the height of a helicopter, although was no noise. Then it moved away over the city toward the south west. The light faded then glowed bright again, but faded slowly until it disappeared - about Church Corner area possibly.

Strange .......... and I have no idea of what it was.
............ maybe a wish lantern launched nearby, but if so it travelled a long way.
