Last light

It’s been a turbulent few days with big winds and racing clouds – and dramatic light!

This is La Perdiz (the reason why it’s called “The Partridge” is only really obvious from the other side), but hidden behind it in the clouds is El Lucero, a big mountain with which I have a love/hate relationship. On a mild, still day when I’m feeling fit and ready to conquer the world, I love it! In weather like this, when it feels like the wind could just pick you up and blow you all the way to Africa, it’s hell!
