Quince

Here at the base of my Quince Bush/Tree, is one of the fruits left over from last years crop. The squirrels must have had enough stash to let this one go. With the spring thaw, I'm finally able to see some neat things. The birds love this bush. They crowd in protectively as well as noisily. So fun to watch. In a few weeks this bush will be aglow with dark pink / orange flowers, that will later on produce the fruit itself.
