Cats Paws in Stornoway Harbour

The view from the dramatically titled Gallows Hill shows almost all of Stornoway. From the castle on the left to the harbour and town centre. It is a wonderful natural harbour. But today the wind is blasting over Gallows hill, sending downdrafts racing down into the harbour. These bubbles of descending air hit the water sending ripples racing away making patterns like cat's paws on the water.
