Free food...

My favourite bar in trendy, boho Chorlton, ODDEST on Wilbraham Road, was offering free food when I last went in. Little glasses full of popcorn (which I have never liked as it reminds me of flavoured polystyrene chips) and little tastes of chocolate brownie which is much more to my taste.

I liked the funky, recycled cake stand. We had difficulty convincing some of the younger members of the family that if you put one of those black disks on a specially designed turntable music would come out. I still like CDs. I have downloaded but tend to forget I have that music and rarely listen to it. Having it in a physical form reminds me to listen to it. In a digital form, goodness knows where, I rarely bother with it....
