Coast Coral Tree and Moon

The Coast Coral Tree, Erythrina caffra, is a tree native to southeastern Africa. These exotic trees are planted as an ornamental on the seafront of this seaside town.
These trees provide a shady area very extensive but in the early spring are admired for its spectacular bloom! Huge clusters of red flowers, bright, covering the branches of trees making them look like coral (hence the common name of the plant).
