Powick Mills
We continued our weekend in Worcester with a tour around the Malverns. This is Powick Mills on the edge of Worcester.
When I think of hydro-electric power stations, I think of Scotland or Wales. Remarkably, what you see here, on a tributary of the river Severn, was the largest hydro-electric power station in Britain when it was built in 1894.
It has now been converted into flats.
