ENJOYING THE SUN!

We left our accommodation after a hearty breakfast. The sun was shining but the cold wind was still with us. We stopped off at Lynford Arboretum where we wandered down to the lake and then along the river.
On our way back out there was a lot of activity around a stand of pine trees (twitchers) It turned out that there was a two barred crossbill (very rare in this country) We stood scanning and following location points for ages and eventually managed to catch a glimpse - Yay!!
A lovely four day break.
