Ally asked yesterday if we could go shopping for new clothes for him. I offered to take him up to Plymouth on the train if he wanted to.

So we set off this morning after swimming and 'did' Next, Primark and H&M before coming home again. A very successful mission apart from my phone running out of charge before we crossed the Tamar this thwarting today's planned blip!

Gin club later. I have cancelled all plans for tomorrow.
