Travels

Todays travels were not as exotic as last year which saw SWBO and I on Antigua for our anniversary.

Today it is Newcastle where we spent our honeymoon 30 years ago.

Back then, there was nothing as elaborate as the Millenium Bridge (also known as the Winking Eye as it has the ability to raise the footway to allow the river traffic through)

The ultra modern Sage has only been open for 5 years as well.
The concert halls inside are super (with loads of legroom) so we have booked tickets to go and see Elkie Brooks (we have seen her before but it is many years ago).

If you area ever in Newcastle - you get a great meal in The Sage at a very reasonable price.
