One year on...

Can't believe it's a whole year since this snowy celebratory day when my eldest son got married to the eldest daughter of good friends. Apart from the shock of waking to a white landscape and the cold we endured in totally inappropriate clothes, it was a lovely lovely day.
Now they're in Silicon Valley in the sun, but luckily coming home soon for a visit. I've been remembering the day whilst solitarily ploughing through work and looking out at sunshine. Very different sort of day, but good memories
