Fire

Another lovely walk this morning, not a cold as I thought with a wonderful moon lighting the hill.

Managed to finish most of the month end processing and we had a fire alarm at work. Everyone out. We are ment to meet at Atholl Crescent so we headed out to be net by a wall of people who could not bother walking any further and blocked the pavement. They would not even move round when told, so we all had walk on the road to get along Atholl Crescent, as most were managers nothing will be said.

It was a chance to chat to some of the people in our department, I was chatting to this guy I work near about Eyemouth fishing boats from the 70's and 80's rivetting stuff. All afternoon we shouted boat names at each other, Maureen, Steadfast, Valhalla, Clansman, Janbil, Supreme, Good Hope and Sharon Rose and many more.

It turns out the fire alarm caused by burning lift brakes, another fine reason to use the stairs then.

Good training session tonight hope we can put the learning points into practice on Sunday, waiting to hear if we have a game.
