MIA

I've been too slack in recent weeks with the camera - have stopped taking it everywhere. I turned 51 this weekend while my dearly beloved celebrated a more significant milestone on Friday. I surprised her with a weekend away in Martinborough with friends, staying at a very nice place that bordered the local golf course. Part of the surprise included me spiriting my golf clubs into the car (well, it was my birthday too!!) so G & I played a round while our better halves went and shopped or did whatever it is they do. Had a fantastic meal in town then came back, lit the fire and had great old time nattering until very late (some whisky was involved - well, it was my birthday too). Awesome time had by all and I think I've been forgiven for the surprises that seemed to keep on coming.
